In the Grafenschachen business park, the new company facility for Hydraulik Dunst was constructed. The project comprised three building sections: the main company building, the heating plant, and the test/vehicle wash area.

Heating for the individual building sections is supplied via the heating plant, including the paint and sandblasting booths in the main building, implemented through two modern wood-chip boilers. Space heating in the office areas is provided via heated ceilings, in all other areas through underfloor heating, and in the halls with a special industrial specification. Cooling of the office areas is achieved with chilled ceilings, while the technical rooms are cooled with split air-conditioning units.

Electrical supply is provided via a dedicated transformer station, with distribution centrally managed through the low-voltage main distribution for the entire site. Nearly full-surface photovoltaic (PV) systems were installed on the roofs of the company building and test/wash area, supplying the facility’s own demand and feeding surplus energy into the grid.

Our building services (MEP) scope included, among others:

  • Installation of the heating system for the entire facility

  • Installation of an elevator in the stairwell

  • Installation of decentralized air-conditioning units

  • Installation of sanitary systems

  • Connection to utility supply and disposal networks

  • Installation of a transformer station for electrical supply

  • Installation of grounding and lightning protection systems

  • Installation of a photovoltaic system

The result: the new company facility combines state-of-the-art building technology with sustainable energy and utility solutions. Efficient heating, cooling, and power systems ensure smooth operations, optimal production conditions, and future-ready operational structures for Hydraulik Dunst.

In the existing production building (Section 1) of OTTO BOCK Healthcare Products GmbH, a comprehensive restructuring of production and testing processes was carried out. From now on, the building will also house the production testing departments. During the renovation, internal departments were reorganized and optimized. Existing machinery and equipment from the previous location on Kaiserstraße were relocated to Section 1 and integrated into the production and testing processes. Machines no longer required were partially decommissioned and replaced with new ones. A new test field with associated infrastructure was constructed on the ground floor.

The restructuring required adaptations and extensions of the building and electrical systems to optimally meet the new requirements of the production and testing processes.

Our building services (MEP) scope included, among others:

  • Adaptation and extension of the building services systems to accommodate the new production and testing processes

  • Adaptation and extension of the electrical systems to accommodate the new production and testing processes

  • Integration of existing and new production and testing machines into the building and electrical systems

  • Installation of additional air-conditioning systems for the testing processes

The result: the restructuring created an efficiently organized production and testing environment where existing and new systems are optimally integrated. The technical system upgrades enable smooth operations, greater flexibility, and a future-oriented production environment for OTTO BOCK Healthcare Products.
